Care & Cleaning Honeycomb Shades

Delta Shutters’ Honeycomb Shades are crafted from 100% polyester and are treated to resist dust, dirt, and stains.

Dusting
Regularly dust your shades using a soft, clean cloth, a feather duster, or a dust brush specifically designed for shades.
Vacuuming
For deeper cleaning, gently vacuum using a brush attachment.
Compressed Air/Hair Dryer
Use a can of compressed air or a hand-held hair dryer on the cool setting to blow off dust and debris.
Spot Cleaning
Gently blot stains with a soft cloth or sponge moistened with lukewarm water and mild detergent. Avoid creasing the fabric.
Bathtub Cleaning/Water Immersion
Suitable for most honeycomb fabrics (avoid SoftStyle or Blackout fabrics). Submerge the entire shade in lukewarm water with mild detergent, then rinse with clear water. After removing, let excess water drain off and reinstall while damp. Lower the shade completely and allow it to dry in place.
