Window treatment cords pose a potential strangulation hazard to young children and pets. Accidents involving window treatment cords often happen with older products that do not meet current safety standards. It is strongly recommended to use only cordless window treatments in homes with small children.
Old corded window treatments should be retrofitted or replaced with safer designs in accordance with the Corded Window Coverings Regulations (CWCR). At Delta Shutters, our cordless products undergo rigorous scrutiny to meet the highest safety standards. We proudly offer several child-safe options to ensure your family’s safety.
We fully support the Corded Window Covering Regulations and have provided a checklist of requirements

- Install only cordless window coverings in homes with young children.
