The Somfy TaHoma® gateway and smart phone app provides convenient and customized control of Somfy powered motorized shades, blinds, and other motorized solutions. Control up to 40 RTS (Radio Technology Somfy) channels using the TaHoma app. Multiple TaHoma devices can be joined for multi-zone control.

Care & Cleaning Vertical Blinds

  • Dusting

    Regularly dust with a soft cloth or a dust brush designed for blinds.

  • Vacuuming

    Gently vacuum using a brush attachment for deeper cleaning.

  • Compressed Air/Hair Dryer

    Use compressed air or a cool-setting hair dryer to remove dust and debris.

  • Spot Cleaning

    (Vinyl Blinds only) Use a soft cloth with lukewarm water and mild detergent. Avoid this method for Fabric Blinds.

  • Ultrasonic Cleaning

    Professional ultrasonic cleaning is recommended for Fabric Blinds only.

  • Injection/Extraction Cleaning

    This in-home service injects and extracts a cleaning solution.

For stationary control on an interior wall, Somfy offers battery-powered wall switches – an ideal way to operate motorized screens without the need for an electrician.
